I would highly recommend Wyoming K9! I adopted my shelter dog, Luca, just three days after saying goodbye to my beloved dog, Charlie. I had so much love to give and wanted to give another dog a chance. The moment I met Luca, I couldn’t send him back—but he came with severe separation anxiety, and nothing I tried seemed to work. I felt completely defeated at times and even considered giving up. My aunt encouraged me to look into the board-and-train program. I’ll be honest—I was hesitant at first. But after meeting with Paula and hearing her approach, I decided to give it a shot. Luca completed the 4½-week board-and-train program, and the results have been incredible. He’s learned his basic obedience commands, and we continue to practice them daily. Paula also provides training videos, which have been extremely helpful in transitioning Luca back home and keeping his training consistent. I took a few days off work to help him adjust, and as of today, he has been able to stay in his crate for 4 hours. I came home, let him out, then left again for another hour—and he settled. Before training, I couldn’t leave for even 30 minutes without him pacing, barking, whining, and howling. The progress he’s made is truly tremendous. Thank you so much, Paula! I can now go to work with peace of mind knowing Luca can settle and feel safe. He’s such a sweet dog and absolutely worth every moment. ❤️

My dog Rudy had major anxiety issues around other dogs, making it impossible for him to play with other dogs. Ever since taking him to the Wyoming K-9 academy, we have been able to take him to dog parks without issue. He loved his time there and came back so much happier and well-trained. Definitely recommend!

We took our very dog-reactive puppy to Wyoming K-9 Training Academy for board-and-train. I was very reluctant to leave her because she was so young (5 months). I did feel like her problem was severe enough, though, that if we didn’t do something, she would never be able to be around other dogs. After a month, she was MUCH improved! I had to trust the process. I was able to visit frequently and check in on her progress. We were very pleased with our experience and happy that we did it. She liked all the handlers there.
